This was a poem that I wrote after my old Drivers Ed. Teacher died early last year. I thought he was the coolest person in the world even as a teacher and a friend, and I will never forget him. I hope you enjoy this poem. ^^ -----------------------------------------
I remember stepping into your classroom in the summer.
And knew the minute this class wont be a bummer.
I got do drive with you and you taught me the prospects of the road.
You taught me to "floor it" on the turnpike.
"That" I would always like.
I remember the one time on the road we had a flat.
But it was so funny, and i will always remember that.
I remember the time you gave me the green card.
And then I always knew this class wasn't too hard.
Afterward I always remember the "hello's" and the "how are you's."
I think back when we were driving, we would always listen to the blues.
After the driving test, I walk out with my driver's license.
Then say "thank you, Mr. Jones!" I knew this would make sense.

That's a nice poem and it was really nice of you to write it for that teacher of yours that died. I'm sure he knows about this and is happy and likes it too.
